• To counter the Protestant view, Roman Catholics developed the Annales Ecclesiastici by Cardinal Caesar Baronius.
• Volume X saw Baronius coin the term "dark age" for 888 - 1046.
• "Lack of writers" many refer to the number of volumes in Migne's Patrologia Latina.
• There is a sharp drop from 33 volumes in the 9th Century to just 7 in the 10th, with the 11th Century having 12 volumes.

Character: Exercise

Quick character designs for a; thin Native American, in preparation for the genre's that we had received for our three characters to be centred around.

Character: Project Intro

For the Character project, I have 'Highschool Superheroes' as my chosen genre. It's a subject that has been covered quite a bit, with the most famous example of the genre being; X-Men with Professor X's school for the "gifted". With this explored genre comes the price of becoming "too" generic or failing to emphasise the 'Superhero' counterpart to the highschool genre.

Negativity aside, I like the genre I have been given and am very interested for this project. I will seek to find an area of the genre not yet taken advantage of, which will inspire my story for these characters. For example; Unlike X-Men I could focus on the school itself as well as it's tier structure, rather than moving away from the setting.

For the new project, Narrative, I am grouped up with Anthony, George and Ilmi. We are to make an animation that is relative to the time period that we choose, which is the Dark Ages in the 9th Century (800-900).
