Final Hybrid - Colour
My final piece in colour. I like how it came out, and I would appreciate any criticism or suggestions.

Digital Painting
Finished my image that I started on Friday, in the Photoshop session. Phil said to keep it 2D for starters, just to get a sense of the character then I can change the perspective of it. I might go back into this, adding the back leg and arm giving the character a bit more depth. That aside, I'm pleased how this came out and believe I've managed to capture some personality in the face.

Digital Painting
This is my un-finished digital painting from the photoshop session, last Friday. The first image is the outline, with the second acting as the silhouette. I then started on building up the definition of the character, removing the silhouette and using white lines over the pre-drawn lines. Then toggling back the silhouette, I then started to work on top. I struggled to work on this as I came unprepared, with no sketches on me, so creatively I struggled. This shows as my hybrid heavily resembles a centaur, though at the time it never occurred to me. Though it has helped me, as I know now that this is not the direction I want to head towards and stay clear from.

Digital Painting
This is a digital drawing of my animal. This was also my first real go at photoshop (for anything like this, anyway) as well as a tablet. I like how it came out, I just wish I could have put some real definition in the face.
