The first of my final pieces, the Room Of Roots. I'll most likely edit it after the photoshop session, but this is more or less finished in my eyes. I welcome any, and all, feedback and criticism.
Excellent painting man although I think Kadeem's got a good point. You've got a good painting here but the amount of light streaming in from the top covers up too much of the picture. Try toning it down to just a few well placed beams of light other than that it's looking sweet :)
They're described as 'just' roots at first, but the book later redefines itself by saying that they're multi-coloured and just painted on. So I went with how I first imagined it.
This is looking great jake! one thing i would say is that the light source may be blocking out the texture of the brick work in the background.
